Responsibilities
The associate scientist will be responsible for the development, optimization, qualification and transfer of cell-based bioassays and surrogate bioassays such as ligand-binding ELISAs for the assessment of the biological activity of therapeutic antibodies and other proteins.
The assays need to be quantitative and robust to support clinical development as well as long term commercial support of biologic drugs.
The associate will document laboratory work in notebooks/eNotebooks and log books, perform data integrity checks and communicate final results through electronic systems.
Basic Qualifications
M.S in biochemistry, cell biology or molecular biology or a B.S. with at least 10 yrs of experience in performing cell-based bioassay methods in 96-well formats.
Experience in bio-assay development suporting biologics and drug development
Have basic molecular biology knowledge such as signal transduction and gene expression and cell biology skills
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
Additional Skills/Preferences
Experience in reporter-gene assays is a plus.
Understanding of GMP quality systems.
Knowledge about FDA/EMA regulations on potency assay development.
Understanding of antibody and protein drug development and analytical control strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet specific goals.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work with external partners.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
