Responsibilities:
Global IT Service Desk Solution Architect
The Global IT Service Desk Architect will be responsible for ensuring all technical solutions and toolsets meet Lilly and Supplier technical requirements. This role will be required to gain an in-depth knowledge of Service Desk and Service Management processes and will work closely with Lilly Points of Contact and Suppliers across the enterprise to ensure the evolution of technology at the Service Desk. This role will be expected to deliver continual improvement while serving as the technical integrator for the Global IT Service Desk.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Maintain Lilly Technology Roadmap for the IT Service Desk
Work in conjunction with GICOE as well as Enterprise Capability teams to ensure our architecture incorporates future demands for Global IT Service Desk
Define the strategy for IT Service Desk/Service Management technologies in the area
Work with Service Management Architect to align the technical roadmap with Lillys ITSM Strategy
Serve as the Technical Lead on area projects
Influence technical decisions across IT, as well as with senior management and business partners
Ensure the solution will be able to meet user and system requirements
Understand Global Service Desk/Service Management deliverables in scope of relevant service provider contracts and how they are implemented at Lilly
Develop a thorough understanding of the MS&C portfolio with the objective of putting in place an architectural structure that allows the organization to have a clear line of site to our future state as well as our targeted milestones
Serve as the IT Service Desks primary contact to coordinate all architectural requests, to ensure the team is advancing as defined in the reference architecture, and to monitor for unintended architectural gaps in support of MS&C commitments
Liaise with the Global Service Integration Solution Architect to ensure alignment for Service Integration roadmap
Handle escalations and technical issues in regards to new solution
Continually ensure alignment with the Service Integration toolset; work to lessen user/business impact through problem management and streamlining issue resolution
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
4 plus years of experience with architectural concepts, practices, methods, principles and a comprehensive understanding of evolving industry trends, practices and standards
4 plus years of experience with enterprise architecture, with depth in at least one fundamental architecture area: application, infrastructure, information, or integration
Experience defining architectural roadmaps, including target architectures
Experience with conceptual and logical architecture modeling

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Advanced knowledge of Lilly architecture methodologies, artifacts and processes
Understanding of common application patterns (e.g., SOA, ECM, integration)
Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks
Advanced knowledge of Lillys IT infrastructure and primary Service Management systems
Knowledge of Service Management processes and practical experience with how they are and can be used at Lilly
Strong networking, collaborating, partnering, and influencing skills
Diagramming, drawing and visual communication
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to drive decisions and influence at all levels to achieve desired outcomes
Demonstrated anticipation and resolution of key operational, business or technical problems affecting a core service
Ability to define, document, justify and effectively communicate architecture using advanced presentation skills (both orally and written) demonstrating effectiveness in communicating architectural principles to broad audiences with differing needs.
A high level of flexibility and learning agility to keep up with ever-changing business needs, architecture changes, vendor/supplier offerings and service changes
Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment where needs and priorities can change with tight deadlines
Ability to find creative solutions when faced with limited options, strong problem solving skills
Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
Strong understanding and knowledge of Lilly business strategic direction/objectives, requirements and corporate culture
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders as well as end users
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification (desired)
ITIL awareness with an interest in becoming on the technology needs and business impacts/integrations of the ITIL processes
Additional Information:
Position is located at LCC. Must be willing to (at times) work extended hours, weekends, and participate in evening meetings given global nature of work.
Some global travel may be required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
