Responsibilities:
The Consultant position provides process control engineering support for manufacturing operations in accordance with appropriate GMP and safety guidelines. This support includes change control implementation, deviation investigation, routine process control computer system support activities, and off hours process control computer system support. This position also leads non-routine automation computer system support activities, delivers engineering projects to the business, is able to utilize first principles in delivery of these solutions, and can recommend new control strategies for the various operations processes utilized in manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Operations Automation Support
Provide automation technical support to manufacturing operations for process control system platforms and/or process information systems
Provide a high level of data mining and analysis to identify improvements in the manufacturing process
Leads cross functional teams focused on process improvement efforts
Understands computer system validation (CSV)and the application of CSV standards and policies
Design and implement control strategies for process control related changes to manufacturing operations
Direct investigations of automation related deviations
Oversee system support activities (e.g. system backups, performance monitoring, password maintenance, etc.)
Provide technical off hours automation support to operations
Coach, mentor, and perform all work in a manner consistent with Lilly policies, procedures, and standards
Ability to work in a safe manner and ensure safety of others
Provide engineering solutions to the business
Provides process control design and delivery of new process units
Provides project management and technical leadership to projects
Provides guidance to technical staff and/or contractors in the delivery of automation solutions
Provides expertise in standards such as S88 and fundamental engineering principles in the delivery of automation solutions
Responsible for ensuring that life-cycle plans are developed and executed for automation systems
Responsible for both internal and external benchmarking as well as application of process control business solutions
Provide recommendations on new control strategies/technologies
Research and maintain familiarity with various control strategies/technologies
Research and maintain familiarity with biotechnology processes utilized in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Mentor Technicians, Specialists, and Engineers
Provide mentoring and coaching in both aspects of technical and professional development
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology, BS Chemical Engineering preferred

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Previous CAPA experience change control and deviation management system
Previous experience with automation/building management control systems
Experience working in a regulated environment
Thorough understanding and application of the S88 standard
Thorough understanding of control theory
Experience with Foxboro I/A and/or DeltaV distributed control systems
Previous bulk manufacturing experience
Ability to configure process control systems and troubleshoot computer hardware
Teamwork and effective interpersonal skills
Effective written, oral communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail
Ability to influence and resolve inter-discipline manufacturing area initiatives
Additional Information:
Requires 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on-call support as needed
Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing appropriate PPE

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
