# Responsibilities
This position will serve as an account manager for the US Affiliate across multiple brand teams for US Lilly Bio-Medicines. The overarching role is to serve as the link for these brand teams to the IT central organization and will specifically be charged with:
Partnering with brand teams to identify, pilot and expand new channel opportunities (emphasis on digital) that meet customer needs through integration into customer workflow and channel preference
Maximizing value by driving continuous improvement and utilization of information with existing assets and capabilities
Identifying high value opportunities for information driven business value ensuring fit for purpose of IT assets by maintaining a 3-5 year view of strategic and architectural information needs ensuring sustainability of the overall IT operating model and capability
This position reports to a Lilly USA IT Director.
Key objectives and deliverables
Effectively influence the US brand strategies by leading the development of the IT elements, and ensuring proper representation.
This includes building relationships with internal business partners and external resources to assist in all phases of implementation.
Influence brand management teams, effectively challenging where appropriate at senior levels of the organization.
Lead the identification of new opportunities.
Coordinate with other dedicated account facing roles to ensure alignment and drive towards a single solution.
Accountable for business case development for new project and program work.
Aid in prioritization.
Partner and coordinate with the all IT teams to ensure maximum cross-functional alignment and delivery of solutions. Influence and drive OCM. Measure value achieved relative to business cases.
Capture and pro-actively share best-practices and look for replication opportunities.
# Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years in IT in a business integrator role or equivalent experience in leading and influencing IT projects in a marketing discipline
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
# Additional Skills/Preferences
Experience in the US Affiliate and/or knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing practices
Product team or brand team experience
Experience in a cross functional business role
Experience in strategy development & business planning process
Experience as a Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and/or IT processes, especially in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally
Experience leveraging standard solutions to deliver maximum value
Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage complex projects, programs and services with a strong sense of urgency.
