Responsibilities:
This role on the global Lilly Diabetes commercialization team will have key responsibilities for leading projects and solutions that support the global Lilly Diabetes Brand as well as ownership of the global Humatrope brand strategy.
Primary deliverables for this individual will be to lead, oversee and manage the global congress strategy and presence for Lilly Diabetes; developing and managing the global Humatrope Brand strategy, including leading development of the global plan; leading affiliate communication and integration efforts; ownership of operational efforts in Lilly Diabetes (including budget management); and leading other projects and solutions that support the Lilly Diabetes brand and customer experience.
This position will require close cross-functional collaboration with individuals from affiliate marketing teams, global product brand marketing teams, medical, agency partners, and other key stakeholders involved with projects and deliverables.
Role requirements include experience/expertise in the following areas: brand marketing, strategic and tactical planning and execution, developing customer-focused approaches and solutions, cross-functional leadership and communication skills, and strong project management skills.
The candidate needs to display the ability to bring focus and energy into developing customer-focused strategies and solution development and demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills. Previous marketing experience and the ability to work on global brand team is preferred. Candidate must be able to work with international affiliates, execute a global strategy, develop and execute insights-based global non-product solutions, collaborate with working teams and work with affiliates worldwide to launch/execute/implement brand solutions that will help in creating positive customer experiences.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Serve as go-to point person and internal expert for global congresses, Humatrope brand, and Lilly Diabetes solutions.
Lead development of global congress strategy and presence for Lilly Diabetes. This includes between 4-6 global/international meetings annually.
Lead development of global strategy and brand plan for Humatrope.
Work with cross-functional key stakeholders/teammates across the Diabetes Business Unit in planning and executing Lilly Diabetes and Humatrope Brand activities.
Plan and lead interactions, communications, and touch points between global and affiliate teams.
Lead and partner with agency teams in developing and executing strategies and deliverables.
Serve as key stakeholder in the development of the Lilly Diabetes global strategy, brand, and business plan.
Lead brand operational efforts including communication planning and budget management within the Diabetes team and across the commercialization organization.
Serve as key Associate in helping develop and manage projects, activities, and solutions that support the Lilly Diabetes and Humatrope Brands and customer experience.
Understand and work within compliance rules and policies in daily work.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
2 plus years of marketing experience and/or significant global marketing
2 plus years of record of planning, communication and demonstrating a broad ability to coordinate and get results with and through others.
Experience with Development of customer focused solutions or approaches.
Experience with agencies / external partner vendors
Experience with brand/business planning process.
Project management skills
